Bushnell-Prairie City Schools' commitment to extracurricular programs helps reinforce positive character traits and foster academic, physical, creative and emotional growth. Studies show that involvement in extracurricular activities is linked to a child's academic success so we strive to provide a variety of opportunities that will appeal to all students. It is the district's belief that these activities allow students to learn in a less formal environment while encouraging them to explore a variety of interests and to develop positive self-esteem and improved social skills.

PARTICIPATION FEES

Participation fees are charged to offset the cost of providing transportation and other expenses associated with extra curricular activities. Please see the fee schedule below. Activity fees must be submitted before uniforms are distributed and/or event contests are held, however a student will never be excluded from participation due to financial hardship.
